Surprised how big the hotel is. The price you pay is very good value. Good sized rooms with excellent service. The staff were always on hand to help you and we're always happy and cheerful. The pool is lovely, but more sun beds would be good as there are only 8 for a fairly big pool. The coffee shop is amazing with small wonderful cakes/coffees/teas, plus they give you 50% off cakes after 8pm.

Didn't try the restaurant. Instead we opted for a local restaurant to the right of the hotel. Serves Indonesian food and good prices. We were lucky that one of the many staff spoke English and helped with the non-English menu.

The negatives of the hotel are the breakfast. Yes, it's included in the price, which is great, but I've had a lot better at other hotels. They have the usual spread, but the hot, foreign-style food wasn't in abundance. Quite limited and cold. The location of the hotel isn't the best, but we expected that. It's only a short taxi-ride to Kuta beach or the hotel provide a shuttle service every 4 hours: 9am, 1pm, 5pm and 9pm.
